Essential guide to paddle board and kayak rentals for your water adventures.

  • To rent a kayak or paddleboard, simply visit our website and select your desired equipment and rental period. Complete the booking and payment process online. On the day of your rental, arrive at the designated pick-up location at your scheduled time. We’ll provide a brief orientation and safety instructions before you set off on your adventure.

  • Our pick-up and drop-off location is conveniently located at Way of the Mono parking lot. Use this link to map yourself there: 

    Detailed directions will be provided in your booking confirmation email. Please ensure you return the equipment to the same location at the end of your rental period.

  • We recommend bringing the following items for a safe and enjoyable experience:

    • A personal life vest (we provide a life vest if you do not have one)
    • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
    • Water and snacks
    • Comfortable clothing and water shoes
    • A dry bag for personal items
    • A camera or phone to capture the beautiful scenery

  • No, all rentals must be used within the confines of Bass Lake. Taking the equipment outside of the lake is strictly prohibited and may result in additional charges and penalties.

  • If you return the equipment after your designated drop-off time, you may incur additional fees. Please refer to our Rental Agreement for more details on late return policies.

  • We do not allow cancellations for less than ideal weather. However, if the weather is unsafe due to high winds, lightning, or storms, we will contact you to cancel or reschedule your reservation. Cancellations made by our staff due to unsafe weather conditions will receive a full refund.

  • Yes, if you cancel with 24 hours or more notice, you will receive a 100% refund. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation are subject to the full reservation cost. Please refer to our Rental Agreement for more detailed information.

  • View our catalog. Click on either the paddle board or kayak. Choose the quantity of items you would like to rent. Add item(s) to cart. Choose the date and time for rental from the top of the cart window. That option will then bring you to the 4hr or 8hr rental options. Click "apply" and then checkout. The last step is to enjoy!

  • Yes, children are allowed to use our equipment, but an adult must be present at the time of pick-up, sign the rental agreement, and assume responsibility for the equipment. Adults are also responsible for the safety and supervision of any minors using the equipment.

  • Yes, we provide a brief orientation and safety instructions when the item(s) is dropped off. We strongly recommend that all renters follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.

  • The customer is held responsible for the item during the agreed rental period. If the item is damaged or stolen, the customer will be held responsible and is subject to a replacement fee.
